The Outdoor daybed STAY stone grey Blomus turns any patio corner into a laid-back retreat. Its low, expansive silhouette instantly invites you to stretch out, whether along a glass railing, beside a pool, or on a compact city balcony with a generous wall. The medium stone-grey upholstery brings a calm, grounded note that pairs easily with timber decking, concrete slabs or pale tiles. A long, softly padded mattress forms the main body, creating ample room for lounging lengthways or reclining diagonally. At the back, a full-width, bolster-like upright backrest visually frames the piece and offers reassuring support. The overall impression is that of a generous outdoor lounge cushion elevated to furniture status. With this daybed, your outdoor space naturally gains a dedicated zone for reading, afternoon naps or relaxed conversations stretching into the evening.
The Outdoor daybed STAY stone grey Blomus stands out through its clean, almost sculptural volume. The base appears as a broad, low block resting directly on the ground, which reinforces the idea of a giant cushion rather than a conventional lounger with legs. The mattress surface is gently divided by shallow section seams, creating wide horizontal panels that lend rhythm without clutter. The stone grey tone, balanced between warm and cool, softens strong sunlight while still highlighting the daybed’s contours. The full-width upright backrest, reminiscent of an oversized bolster set on edge, runs uninterrupted across the rear, giving the piece a clear orientation and a graphic vertical accent. Generous proportions make it substantial, yet the rounded edges and continuous fabric covering keep the silhouette soft and welcoming, ideal for contemporary outdoor settings seeking both comfort and visual calm.
The Outdoor daybed STAY stone grey Blomus truly shines when it becomes the anchor point of your outdoor layout. Position it parallel to a balustrade to enjoy distant views, or place it at right angles to large sliding doors to visually extend your living room outside. Its generous length suits placement along a boundary wall, where the upright backrest can echo vertical planting or fencing. On a roof terrace, set it near a corner to create a sheltered lounge nook, leaving space for a slim side table and a floor lantern. In a garden, it pairs beautifully with gravel, decking or large-format paving stones. To explore complementary seating, browse our curated range of outdoor daybeds and lounge chairs and build a coherent outdoor relaxation area around this centrepiece. With its low overall height of around 50 cm, the broad 190-by-120 cm surface reads like a raised outdoor island that calmly grounds nearby furniture.
To ensure long-term visual harmony around the Outdoor daybed STAY stone grey Blomus, start with a cohesive palette. Combine its stone-grey tone with muted neutrals such as sand, off-white and soft charcoal, then add one or two accent colours you can update over time. Mustard, terracotta or deep blue cushions, purchased separately, can shift the mood without overwhelming the calm base. Material-wise, mix it with warm woods and matte black metal details to echo the daybed’s contemporary lines. As you rearrange your outdoor space in future seasons, this piece can move from a central island to a wall-hugging chaise without losing its relevance. Its quietly graphic form supports many styles, from minimalist urban terrace to more relaxed, plant-filled patio, helping your outdoor decor evolve while remaining visually consistent. Even as cushions and accessories change, the long 190 cm mattress and full-width upright bolster keep a clear horizontal–vertical structure anchoring the scene.
