Three-seat sofa IXIA taupe faux fur and embracing seat

The Three-seat sofa IXIA taupe faux fur and embracing seat turns an ordinary living room into a soft, inviting retreat. At 240 cm long, it naturally claims the central spot opposite a media unit or aligned with a large window, anchoring the main seating area. The warm taupe faux fur wraps the generous curves, giving the room a cocooning, relaxed atmosphere from the first glance. Its single deep seat welcomes stretching out with a book, relaxed conversations or movie nights. Low rounded arms and back form a continuous horizontal line, visually widening the space rather than blocking it. Whether placed in a modern apartment or a family home, this sofa quickly becomes the reference point around which rugs, side tables and floor lamps find their place, creating a harmonious, lounge-inspired living area.

A softly sculpted, cocooning design

The IXIA sofa stands out through its warm brown taupe faux fur, which visually reads as dense, plush and incredibly inviting. This coating fully embraces the low backrest and softly rounded arms, creating an enveloping, almost cloud-like volume. The overall shape is rectilinear but softened by curved corners and generous padding, avoiding any rigid or formal appearance. Its single, continuous seat forms a broad, uninterrupted platform that underlines the piece’s lounge character. At 240 cm long and 107 cm wide, the proportions feel expansive, ideal for sprawling comfortably or seating several guests side by side. The relatively low back keeps the silhouette light and horizontal, perfect for preserving openness in contemporary spaces. The taupe shade subtly bridges darker woods and lighter textiles, making it an easy companion for everything from minimalist interiors to more eclectic, layered decors.

Why choose this IXIA sofa

• The enveloping taupe faux fur finish instantly brings visual warmth and softness, ideal for transforming a plain living room into a cosy nest.
• The long, continuous 240 cm seat allows you to sit or lounge freely, without cushion gaps interrupting comfort or the sofa’s elegant line.
• Low, rounded arms and back soften the volume, helping balance more angular furniture and creating a friendlier, more relaxed atmosphere.
• The generous 107 cm depth naturally supports a lounge posture, encouraging long conversations, reading sessions and laid-back weekend naps.
• Its warm taupe tone coordinates beautifully with dark-stained wood, textured rugs and neutral walls for a timeless, easy-to-update decor.

Best placement and styling ideas for your space

Thanks to its 240 cm length, the IXIA sofa works beautifully as the main statement piece in a living room. Position it opposite your TV cabinet or media wall to clearly define the seating zone, leaving enough space behind for comfortable circulation. With its 107 cm width, it suits larger living areas or open-plan layouts where you want a substantial, welcoming anchor. In a bright room, place it perpendicular to a large window so daylight grazes the faux fur, highlighting its plush texture. Complement it with a generous wooden coffee table and a thick rug to echo its inviting lines. If you are building a complete seating ensemble, explore our wider sofa collection to add armchairs or a smaller companion sofa. Finish the scene with floor lamps, soft cushions and a throw to create a coherent, lounge-like corner.

Ensuring long-term visual harmony around the IXIA

To maintain lasting decorative coherence, let the taupe faux fur of the IXIA sofa set the tone for your palette. This warm neutral pairs seamlessly with dark woods such as walnut or espresso-stained oak, which echo its depth without competing. Build a base of off-white or light beige walls and rugs to frame the sofa’s volume and keep the room feeling bright. Introduce touches of olive green, terracotta or burnt orange through cushions and artwork for seasonal accents you can easily update over time. Metal details in black or brushed bronze on side tables and lighting will provide subtle contrast. Because the sofa’s form is visually generous yet calm, it can migrate from against a wall to a more central, room-dividing position if you later rearrange, still acting as a unifying focal point within evolving layouts.
