Savanna animal sculpture on base KARE Design

The Savanna animal sculpture on base KARE Design turns a simple surface into a cinematic scene. Designed as a long, narrow frieze, it is perfect on a living-room sideboard where you want a strong line without visual heaviness. A dense procession of elephants and a tall giraffe advance along the base, their slim silhouettes catching the light with a silver-toned metallic effect. The piece reads like a moving horizon: low, elongated, yet animated by different heights and profiles. On a hallway console, it greets guests with a subtle safari atmosphere, while remaining graphic enough to suit contemporary interiors. Positioned beneath a wall mirror or artwork, it creates a refined link between wall and furniture. Neither bulky nor tiny, this sculpture occupies space with confidence but leaves plenty of room around for books, lamps or vases that can complete the story you want to tell.

Visual design and stylistic impact

This sculpture is built around a very elongated rectangular base, slim and steady, acting as a discreet stage for the animals. From this line rises a compact row of savanna figures: multiple elephants and a giraffe, their bodies overlapping slightly to form a continuous miniature parade. The giraffe’s long neck breaks the horizontal line, bringing a vertical accent that naturally draws the eye. Each silhouette is simplified yet recognisable, with trunks, ears and legs suggested through clean contours rather than heavy modelling. The unified silver finish, with its metallic appearance, emphasises the outlines and creates lively reflections as you walk past. Proportions are carefully balanced: the animals have presence without becoming massive, and the overall thickness remains modest, so the piece feels like a sculptural drawing in space. From the side, it becomes a fine graphic stroke, while an angled view reveals the layered depth of the composition.

Why choose this piece

• Elongated base highlights consoles or sideboards, creating a continuous decorative line that structures the space without appearing bulky or intrusive.
• Procession of elephants and giraffe introduces a narrative accent, ideal for adding personality to minimalist, modern or travel-inspired interiors.
• Silver metallic-style finish plays beautifully with natural and artificial light, adding discreet sparkle against matte, coloured or textured backgrounds.
• Slender profile fits easily on narrow shelves, mantelpieces or window ledges, making use of places usually reserved for smaller, less expressive objects.
• Graphic silhouettes pair seamlessly with other pieces from the decorative statue collection, allowing characterful arrangements that remain visually coherent over time.

Where to place it at home

The long yet shallow proportions of the Savanna animal sculpture on base KARE Design make it ideal for spots where depth is limited but width is available. On a sideboard, centre it and keep surrounding objects slightly set back so the frieze reads clearly in one glance. In an entrance, place it on a console against a plain wall; its silver line will guide the eye along the hallway. It also works well on a low TV unit, where its horizontal movement echoes the furniture’s shape while adding softness to tech-heavy areas. On a mantel, position it slightly forward so the silhouettes stand out against the wall. A wide windowsill can become a stage for this little migration, provided the background stays uncluttered. Wherever you install it, leave a clean viewing corridor in front so the overlapping animals can be appreciated from different angles.

Ensuring long-term decorative harmony

To keep this sculpture integrated in your decor over time, treat its silver tone as a neutral accent that can link various styles. Combine it with warm materials such as light wood, woven baskets or sandy textiles to echo the savanna theme in a subtle way. For a more urban look, pair it with black metal frames and monochrome artwork, letting the silhouettes act as a soft, organic counterpoint. As you rearrange rooms, its slim footprint makes it easy to move from entrance console to living-room sideboard or even a bedroom chest. You can refresh the setting simply by changing what surrounds it: a new wall colour, different vases or a lamp with a contrasting shade. The sculpture remains a stable visual anchor, its rhythmic line tying together evolving elements so your interior can change while keeping a clear and consistent decorative identity.
